About the Game

Four tractors, fifteen levels of agricultural work, and a farming loop that covers every stage from turning the soil to selling the harvest in the city. The Farmer is a 3D farming simulator that takes the agricultural process seriously, walking you through cultivating, seed drilling, and crop collection in proper sequence before rewarding the completed work with a trip to market. It is methodical, satisfying, and detailed enough to work as a genuine introduction to what farm management involves.

Choosing Your Tractor

Four tractors are available at the start, with three accessible immediately and the fourth unlockable with money earned from completing tasks. The vehicle choice affects how each field operation feels rather than changing the fundamental farming process, and upgrading to the better tractor when funds allow makes the later levels more efficient. Machine attachment happens automatically when you approach the relevant equipment carefully, which removes the frustration of alignment issues and keeps the focus on the farming tasks themselves.

Cultivating the Field

The cultivator attaches to the tractor and the arrow signs on the map direct you to the area that needs turning. Covering the entire designated field rather than stopping when it looks mostly done is what the round progress bar in the upper right corner tracks, and completing the bar fully before moving to the next stage is the requirement for each cultivation task. Systematic passes across the field produce the most complete coverage without requiring you to double back over already-turned ground.

Sowing and Growing

The seed drill replaces the cultivator for the planting stage, and the same principle of covering the full area applies. Planting evenly across the entire cultivated field gives you the crop yield the level requires rather than a partial harvest from sections that were missed. The subsequent watering and pest control operations follow the same systematic approach before the crops reach maturity and the final stage begins.

Selling the Harvest

The last part of each full farming cycle involves taking the harvested crops to the city for sale. The trip to market is the payoff moment that closes the loop on all the field work completed in the earlier stages, and the money earned funds the tractor unlock and any other progression the game offers. Fifteen levels of increasingly demanding farming operations give the game enough content to develop genuine competency with each stage of the process before the final levels require all of them in combination.

Controls: WASD or arrow keys to steer the tractor, C to change camera view. Machines attach automatically on careful approach.
