About the Game
Drawing bridges for small cars was the warmup. Draw the Truck Bridge takes the same freehand physics puzzle format and complicates it significantly by switching to heavier vehicles that behave differently on steep slopes, adding fifty puzzles with a wider range of obstacles, and introducing multiple trucks per level that each need their own path without colliding with each other. The core mechanic is the same satisfying drag-to-draw system, but the weight and momentum of trucks adds a layer of engineering consideration that the original game’s lighter vehicles did not require.
Drawing for Trucks
Truck weight is the central challenge that distinguishes this game from its predecessor. A slope angle that a regular car would climb without issue will cause a truck to stall or flip if it is too steep. Finding the ideal gradient for each bridge, shallow enough to allow the truck to climb but still spanning the gap it needs to cross, is the core puzzle the game is built around. Drawing a smooth, gradual incline rather than a sharp angle is the general principle, but the specific obstacles and star placements on each level constrain how that principle can be applied.
Obstacles and Stars
Speed bumps, spikes, rectangles, and teddy bears appear as obstacles that need to be incorporated into your bridge design rather than drawn through or around carelessly. The truck must stay on the lines you draw but must not collide with them at an angle that causes a crash, which means the smoothness of the path matters as much as its shape. Stars serve a dual purpose: collecting all three completes the level fully, and their placement actively guides you toward the correct line angle when you are unsure which direction the bridge should go. Following the star placement before committing to a final design is worth doing on puzzles where the right approach is not immediately obvious.
Flags and Multiple Trucks
A critical rule that catches many players out: trucks must physically touch the flags rather than fly over them. Drawing a bridge with too much launch angle at the end can send the truck airborne over the flag entirely, which triggers a level failed notification even though the truck passed the correct location. Keeping the bridge flat or slightly declining toward each flag rather than ending on an upward curve prevents that outcome. In levels with multiple trucks, each vehicle needs its own routed path to its corresponding flag, and those paths need to be planned so the trucks do not intersect and collide mid-journey.
