Dockyard Tank Parking gives you a military tank on a sea-level dockyard surrounded by shipping containers and colossal transport ships and asks you to fit it into a narrow zone between two red Ferraris. Forty-four levels of increasing complexity, a three-star rating system that penalizes every collision, and an automatic flip recovery that gets you back on track when the tank inevitably ends up on its side make this one of the more unusual and entertaining parking games available in a browser.

Navigating to the Parking Zone

Each level asks you to follow a reddish arrow toward the blue parking area, passing through blue halos along the route before arriving at the designated spot. The halos cannot be skipped and must be cleared in sequence, which means the path to the parking zone is defined rather than open. The dockyard environment full of pontons, parked vehicles, and dock equipment creates a maze-like approach that gets increasingly complex as the levels progress and the parking zones become tighter relative to the size of the machine you are steering.

The Three-Star System

Three stars are available on each level and each collision with a ponton or another vehicle costs you one. Parking cleanly without touching anything along the approach or in the final positioning is the requirement for a full three-star rating. The tank can fire shells with the left mouse button or Spacebar, and while shooting cars is technically an option, colliding with them still costs stars even if you are trying to clear a path rather than park around them. Planning the approach carefully enough to avoid contact entirely is the path to full stars.

The Tank and the Dockyard

Steering a tank through a working dockyard at sea level is as entertaining visually as it sounds. The colossal transport ships in the background, the rough water, and the industrial setting give the game a distinct atmosphere that a standard parking lot could not provide. If the tank flips during a difficult maneuver the game automatically rights it after a few seconds, which removes the frustration of a permanent restart while still costing you the time it takes to recover.
