Two and a half minutes. That is all you get to eat as much as possible, grow as large as you can, and avoid getting killed by every other snake in the pit trying to do the same thing. Snake Wars is the classic snake concept in a multiplayer arena and it works exactly as well as you would expect.

Your size is your score, which means the entire game is just a race to eat more than everyone else without touching them. Easy enough in the first thirty seconds when the pit is relatively open. Less easy when you are navigating a longer tail around other snakes who are also navigating their longer tails and everyone is running out of room at the same time. The boost on left click or Space gets you out of tight situations but burns through reaction time, so use it when you actually need it rather than constantly.

The customization is genuinely fun. You can change the food your snake eats to gummies, donuts, pizza slices, diamonds, or a handful of other options, and there are thirteen skin costumes including a green frog, a pumpkin, and a yellow chick available for 500 coins each. None of it affects how the game plays but showing up in a pumpkin costume and then proceeding to dominate the leaderboard has its own energy.
