How the Matches Work

Each match runs for two minutes, and whoever scores the most goals in that window wins. The snake controls feel immediately intuitive but take a few matches to master properly, because steering a snake toward a ball while also positioning yourself for the shot angle requires a bit more spatial awareness than controlling a standard footballer. Getting the ball and holding it away from your opponent while you build a clear path to the goal is the core skill, and learning when to make your move rather than forcing a shot from a bad position separates clean wins from frantic scrambles.

Fields and Unlocks

Four pitches are available across the game. You start on a standard grass field, then progress to a concrete surface, a wooden basketball court style pitch, and finally an earth ground field with red goals that is the most visually distinctive of the four. Unlocking each new field requires winning five matches on the previous one, which gives the game a genuine progression structure rather than making everything available immediately. New snake characters can also be unlocked with match earnings, adding some visual variety to your lineup over time.

Two Player Mode

Clicking the 1 VS 2 button from the level selection menu opens up the local multiplayer option. Your opponent picks their character from the same selection menu, you both choose a pitch, and from there it is a proper head-to-head contest with Player 1 on the arrow keys and Player 2 on W, A, and D. The shared keyboard format and the two-minute match length make it the kind of game two people sitting together can play through multiple rematches without it ever feeling like too much of a commitment.

Controls:

Player 1 uses Left, Right, and Up arrow keys. Player 2 uses W, A, and D. Single player can also use the mouse to steer. Mobile uses touchscreen.
