About the Game

A sheep battle royale where the physics are deliberately absurd, the movement is intentionally difficult to control, and the most common way to lose is getting launched sideways by a collision you did not see coming. Crazy Cattle 3D is a game that became viral almost immediately after release, and it earns that attention through a chaotic, comedic experience that is hard to describe accurately and easy to understand the moment you play it.

You control a bouncy sheep in third-person perspective. Other sheep are around you. Hitting fences or getting collided with by another sheep causes your sheep to explode. The last sheep standing wins. The controls are simple, the physics are not, and the gap between what you intended and what actually happened is the space where most of the entertainment lives.

Other sheep bounce unpredictably, your own sheep slides and accelerates in ways that feel counterintuitive until you develop a feel for the momentum system, and the combination of those two factors creates consistently surprising moments even after you understand how the game works.

Three maps each add their own physical challenge on top of the base mechanics. Ireland is the starting map, green hills and wooden fences that test basic control before the more demanding environments. Sweden introduces ice, which accelerates your sheep in directions you may not have intended and makes every turn a commitment that is difficult to reverse. Egypt is the hardest map, with sandy dunes that hide fences and corners, creating ambush situations that Ireland and Sweden’s more visible layouts do not. Unlocking Sweden requires winning rounds in Ireland. Egypt requires further progression.

The game was released on itch.io in April 2025 by Anna Mayberry and became viral within days. TikTok and YouTube clips of sheep rocketing into fences and flying off cliffs accumulated millions of views within the first month. The simplicity of the concept, the accessibility of the controls, and the comedic quality of the physics combined to create shareable moments that spread the game faster than any marketing could have managed.

Controls: WASD to move, Space to restart, Esc to pause.
