About the Game
Thirty levels, a side-scrolling city full of criminals to flatten, coins to collect, and a three-star rating system that gives every level a reason to replay it better than you did the first time. City Police Cars is a 2D action game where your police car is both the weapon and the vehicle, jumping on enemies to defeat them while navigating obstacles and performing mid-air flips for bonus coins. It is fast, straightforward, and exactly the kind of game that pulls you into one more level when you were planning to stop.
Defeating Enemies and Earning Stars
Jumping on enemies is your primary attack, which means timing and positioning matter more than any weapon system. You need to land on top of them cleanly rather than colliding with them from the side, and managing that while also navigating the level’s obstacles and collecting coins requires a rhythm that develops across the early levels before the difficulty picks up. Each level is rated from one to three stars depending on your performance, and chasing the full three stars on completed levels gives you a secondary goal beyond just reaching the finish line.
Coins and Upgrades
Coins are scattered throughout each level and also earned through mid-air flips, which means the acrobatic moments are financially rewarding rather than just visually satisfying. Getting airborne off a ramp and completing a flip before landing adds to your coin count, and building that habit across levels accumulates enough currency to unlock new vehicles and upgrade your current car’s performance meaningfully. The upgrade system gives each session a longer-term purpose beyond the immediate level, and better vehicles handle the increasingly difficult later missions more comfortably than the starting cruiser.
Increasing Difficulty
Each new mission introduces more challenging enemies and obstacles than the last, and the progression is steep enough that the skills and habits built in the earlier levels genuinely matter when the later ones arrive. The 30-level structure gives the game enough content to develop real difficulty without front-loading everything at once, and the star rating system ensures that players who want a deeper challenge always have something to work toward even on levels they have technically already completed.
