Breaking records is the literal objective. The game tracks your best performance and asks you to beat it, which creates a self-referential competitive loop that is more motivating than chasing a generic high score. Your previous attempt is always the benchmark, and the specific number gives you something concrete to aim at rather than an abstract improvement target.

The achievement system adds secondary goals alongside the main level progression. Viewing the achievements section shows you completed duties in green and remaining ones in gray. Working through the gray achievements alongside the main record-breaking objective gives each session multiple things to work toward, which keeps longer play sessions from feeling like simple repetition of the same loop.

Three tracks unlock at levels 8 and 14 respectively, which means the first map carries most of the game’s early and mid-game content. The time spent on it before reaching the unlock thresholds is more than enough to develop the drift technique that the later maps will demand, and reaching a new map with a well-developed feel for the mechanics is a better position than unlocking one too early and struggling with it.
