About the Game

A hover ship that can reach 800 km/h with the booster engaged, a map full of ramps and platforms, and absolutely no obligation to stay on the ground longer than necessary. Hover Racer Pro is a free-form racing game that hands you a vehicle with airplane-level speed and asks you to figure out what to do with it. The answer, usually, involves finding the biggest ramp available and seeing what happens at full boost.

The Ships

Six hover ships are available in different shapes and colors, each with its own visual identity and the same booster system that pushes speed up toward 800 km/h when engaged. The booster is what separates Hover Racer Pro from a standard racing game in terms of feel, because the speed difference between cruising and boosting is dramatic enough that the two states feel like completely different vehicles. Learning to control the ship at full boost rather than only using it on straight sections is where the real skill development happens, and it takes more time than the early sections of the map require.

Health, Boost, and the Pink Areas

Two bars in the bottom right of the screen track your vehicle’s health in red and your booster charge in blue. Both deplete during play, health from collisions and boost from using it, and both are replenished by hovering over the pink areas marked on the map. Knowing where those pink zones are and routing through them when either bar is running low is part of navigating the map intelligently rather than just going as fast as possible until something breaks.

The options menu gives you alternatives if that resource management feels like an obstacle: you can remove the health limitation entirely, merge the two bars into one, or enable auto boost regeneration that refills the booster without requiring you to seek out pink zones at all.

Getting the Most Out of the Map

The map is built around platforms and ramps that reward players who explore rather than repeat the same route. Different ramps produce different jump trajectories depending on your approach speed and angle, and combining the booster with a well-timed ramp entry produces significantly more airtime than either does independently. Testing what the ship can do at various speeds on various platforms is genuinely part of the game rather than a distraction from it, and the open structure means each session can produce a completely different experience depending on which sections of the map you focus on.

Controls: WASD or arrow keys to steer, Left Shift for booster, Space to brake.
