Nitro activates with Spacebar when available and is the margin that separates close finishes. Using it on a straight section where the speed gain carries through to the next corner is more effective than activating it mid-corner where the increased speed works against your ability to hold the racing line.

The Nitro Boost upgrade makes each activation more powerful, and stacking that with Engine Upgrades that improve base speed and acceleration creates a car that handles both the standard racing and the competitive pressure of the later levels more comfortably than the stock configuration.

Garage and Upgrades

Gems collected across races fund the garage unlocks, which range from 150 gems for the more accessible options to 800 for the elite vehicles. Each car has its own visual identity suited to the neon futuristic aesthetic of the game world, and finding the one that suits your driving style is part of the progression alongside the upgrade investments.

Engine Upgrades and Nitro Boosts are the two upgrade paths, and deciding which to prioritize based on whether your finishing positions are being lost on straights or in contested sections is the judgment the game develops across the thirty levels.
