About the Game
Ten tracks, two game modes, three bikes, and an achievement list that rewards everything from winning without using nitro to losing five races in a row. Crazy Moto Racing is a 3D motorcycle racing game that makes a point of telling you upfront that speed is not your most important asset here. Control is. The tracks have enough twists and turns that a rider who manages their pace through corners consistently will outperform one who holds full throttle and hopes for the best.
Race Mode and Time Attack
Race Mode puts you against two AI opponents across all ten tracks, with your finishing position determining how many coins you earn. First place consistently is the path to three stars on each track and progress toward the Racing Champion achievement. Time Attack removes the opponents entirely and measures only your pace against the clock, but introduces a penalty system for cutting corners that Race Mode does not have. Going off course to shave a corner adds time to your result rather than saving it, which forces a cleaner racing line than the competitive pressure of Race Mode alone would require.
Nitro and Corner Management
Nitro on Shift is the tool that decides close finishes in Race Mode and records in Time Attack, but timing matters more than frequency. Using it on a straight section where the speed gain can be maintained through to the next corner produces a larger advantage than burning it mid-corner where the increased speed works against your ability to stay on the track. The Casual Racer achievement for winning five races without using nitro at all is worth attempting early because it forces you to develop proper corner technique rather than relying on boost to compensate for lost time.
Bikes and Coins
Three bikes are available with the starting option free and the second costing 300 coins and the best available at 2,700. Each upgrade provides better speed and handling that makes the later tracks more manageable. The Trifecta achievement requires owning all three, and the Wreck achievement specifically requires completing all race tracks using only the starting bike, which is a challenge worth saving for after you have learned the track layouts on better equipment.
Achievements
The achievement list covers the full range from straightforward milestones to deliberately ironic ones. Victory Lap and Racing Champion reward expected performance. No Scratch requires winning without any collision, which is considerably harder than it sounds on the more technical tracks. Lost on Track gives you an achievement for driving the wrong way, which is apparently inevitable for enough players that it warranted its own entry. LOL n00b tracks five consecutive losses, and Speed Addict requires a cumulative 1,000 seconds of nitro use across all sessions.
Controls: Arrow keys or WASD to steer, Spacebar to brake, Shift for nitro boost.
